When your gear checks more than one box, you know you've met your match.  Meet The MultiHood, by Forage + Roam.  A hand crafted, solution driven accessory to complement and enhance your time outdoors.  Wear it in any combination of a hood, neck or face gaiter,  or balaclava.

These High Loft™ hoods are my favorite addition to the collection hands down.  This lofty material is lightweight, highly packable, breathable and quick drying thanks to hydrophobic fibers.  The interior is soft and cloudlike for amazing next-to-skin comfort.  A material with no competition when it comes down to warmth to weight ratio.

The Regular 2.0 is a rebuild of my top selling Regular Fit.  Comparable to the hood on a sweatshirt in size, now slightly roomier with a wider neck seam and shallower hood to accomodate a wider range of head sizes.  The Regular 2.0 is compatible with all lower profile helmets, hardhats, and younger Youth snowsport helmets.

Check out the fit guide for tips on how to dial in the perfect fit.

Woven label and 100% synthetic drawcord thoughtfully sourced from other US based small businesses and artisans.  Machine washable.  Visit care instructions here.

Color Notes:  Minty, smokey teal.
Handmade one by one in our Minnesota based studios.

The High Loft™ Hoods are currently only available in the Regular 2.0 fit.

Just okay but loved color

Fabric has a really bad musty smell to it and the bottom of neck “cut and sewing” looked not professionally done and didn’t make item look the price i paid

Hi there! We apologize that the HighLoft hood wasn't a 5 star experience for you. In regards to your comments, the fabric itself is manufactured to have a water repellency to it and may retain some smell from production. The 'musty' smell you are referring to is most likely the drawcords. They are custom made for me out of a synthetic fiber and they have a mild smell that will dissipate with use. We use these over a cotton material to avoid soggy string in wet weather conditions. The neck seam is intended to be 'unfinished' to avoid any unnecessary abrasiveness or rigid texture to the hemline itself - especially when it is paired with multiple pieces of layering all gathering in the same area.
